On a recent visit to the House of Commons organised by the Made in the Midlands consortium of manufacturing companies, Martin Mulvey, Managing Director of Aldridge based precision toolmakers, Phoenix Tooling and Development Ltd, took the opportunity to hold a one to one discussion with Government Business Minister Vince Cable regarding current trading conditions for Midland manufacturers and the future prospects for engineering companies across the West Midlands.

Commenting on the visit Martin said “I am sure that we all gained a great deal from our trip to Westminster and it was a real bonus to have the opportunity to hold a frank discussion with the government’s trade and business minister on various topics affecting Midlands manufacturers.
